 I need a Seth/Ryan icon for The O.C.

Because I find myself writing a short fic.

How weird is that.

I have a strange relationship with this fandom.  I didn't see the show until like a year ago and I still haven't watched past ep 9 of the first season.  I'm currently reading the seth/ryan tag in delicious.  Yeah. The whole thing.

It's not my sort of show at all.  And I can't look away.  And I've got a bunny in my head now.

I was watching the first episode, where Seth catches Ryan with Summer all over him and they fight and my husband walked in and asked "Is this a show about gay teens?" That was awesome.

I'm almost afraid to watch more episodes. I hear there's a divide coming up, or at least that the show stops being about SethandRyan and more about Seth and Summer and Anna and Ryan and Marissa and...blah blah blah.

Of course it's hard for a show to have legs with a focus like that if it's not about gay teens....

....heh, it so should have been about gay teens. I figure if you turn off the sound, you could seriously write your own gay!teen!angst!storylines, lol. (Which is what fan fic is for, hee).

I watched it in a casual way, if it was on, and yes, I think the focus does widen, although I always felt that Seth and Ryan were the kind of vague centre around which the other stories orbited. But lots of stuff went on with the other kids, and with their parents etc etc.(Huh, and upon recollection, I think I remember too much about this for a show I only watched casually!).
