No, not at all. It helps, believe it or not. At least it gives me targets to aim at, even if I don't know if they're out of my range yet.

This is probably my most action-oriented fic since Rollerball. :) It's an interesting stretch for my writing to try to balance the interactions between the characters with their achieving their outside goal together.
