I was having a major technical problem. The teacher said you get fleshtones by mixing red blue and yellow in different proportions, or you can short-cut by mixing an orangish umber color with blue. The only problem is the orange lifts, which means even when it's dry, if you touch it with water, it moves. so every time I tryed to shade, the orange left and there were cool, pale patches left. Very unattractive.
