I just loved this on so many levels. After reading this I was thinking that I would love a sequel about Jensen finding his own place in this beyond it being the gateway for him and Jared being together. I would hope he would come to enjoy topping and there's no way that wouldn't be an incredibly hot thing to read. Jared has had years as well as Jeff to help him figure out what he likes, what are his limits. Jensen is somewhat flying blind although I think you dropped some nice subtle hints that topping may come to him somewhat naturally. Even if you don't write a sequel do you think Jensen would ever seek Jeff out for advice or instruction?
It utterly fascinates me because Jared is an experienced bottom, very used to Jeff who obviously knows not only what he's doing but also has had the years to know Jared completely. If I was in Jensen's place I might have some "performance anxiety". When I'm being submissive I expect the other person to know what they are doing and the idea of someone who isn't comfortable wielding power shuts me down cold. You don't have to be elaborate in what you do but I have to feel you have complete confidence in your ability to own me or I will challenge the shit out of you. *hopes that wasn't too TMI* I would absolutely love to see how this continues to play out for all three of them.
Another thing I adored is that all three men seemed true to life or at least as well as we know them to be. For all that bondage fic can be wicked hot and I enjoy the hell out of it, I often feel as if I'm reading something that's more like an original story with characters that just happen to physically resemble people I'm already familiar with. It can be a remarkable thing to place them in a situation like this and be true not only to the subject matter but also how we perceive them as people. *applauds you*
Finally bravo on writing what has to be the first fic I've ever read to feature a non sexual BDSM relationship. I know that such a thing is possible but I don't think I've ever had the pleasure of reading one before.
