I think I'm a little weird because I really liked this. Well, "liked" probably isn't quite the right word, but I did enjoy it. I'm attracted to the horror aspect of it, and your honest handling of Jared's reactions was fantastic. The idea is really intriguing and uncomfortable and I'd love to read more, but I totally get why you wouldn't want to submerge yourself too deep in this.
