I waited until you posted this part to read the whole story. I never saw the movie Rollerball but must say I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It was very intense, and Jensen playing when injured just made me squirm. And yay for Jared deciding to make a plan B.
And of course a happy ending “I love you, you asshole. Jesus.” which makes all the angst worth it :-)
