I think your Scarverse was the first thing I ever read by you. I can see how you said it ran away from you, but I don't think anyone reading it wants it to end. When you break it down, it's just a really good relationship story, and people will always hound you for more of that. Like any couple, they have issues with their families, their jobs, sex. It's obviously more prominent for them because of Jared's higher profile. But people just respond to well-written characters who have interesting interactions. And it's hard to end something like that if everyone is still enjoying themselves.

Rollerball seemed like it would be easier to end because it was leading up to their escape from the game. It felt like it had a natural ending point and people would feel comfortable extrapolating a somewaht happy-ever-after on their own.

Alas, I'm not a writer. Really, until I started reading fanfic just this year (I'm late to the game), it never really occured to me. But I definitely love reading other people's work and I do get errant plot bunnies in my head. Instead of doing anything about it I usually just wait for someone else to write it, though. (My inner slacker tendencies shining through).
