I did feel bad for the ex-kitty as I wrote it.

I had a cat once that got the handle of a paper shopping bag stuck around his neck, and he tried to run away from it but it kept chasing him, and he ran up into the chair and under my elbow like that. It was adorable, hilarious and so sad at the same time.
