I love the capitals in Bill's *snorts* title, very Diana Wynne Jones-ish. I was laughing at the image of huge, naked "Trist" thundering around the house on all fours. And "fucking with a man's pet, that's gotta be off limits." Very sweet that *that* is what truly pisses Jensen off the most-the nutso messed with his kitty. *cracks up*

This is cute. We know you can do humor-laced angst extremely well, but this is a chance to explore your sense of whimsy.

I wonder how far you've plotted this...even when it's supposed to be just a quickie one-shot, these things have a way of taking on life of their own, don't they?
