If only we *could* make the furry little brats help clean up their messes! I bet Trist was grooving over his opposable thumbs. *grins* The lack of contrition is very realistic-you can yell at a dog & they cringe, especially when they know they've done wrong; but with a cat, it's very much an innocent "what?!" or splendid indifference.
This is a very cute fic, but like most of your work, there's a touch of melancholy underneath it. Trist has been changed in ways he'll never get over and Jensen's not untouched, either, even if Trist becomes a cat again.
