The good news is that commercially available rat poison is in a pellet or brick form and easy to tell. The bad news is if someone can get the active ingredient, it's scentless and tasteless to rats and so slow acting that the rats come back for more than one lethal-size dose.

Lucky if you know what's making you bleed everywhere, some Vitamin K will fix you right up.

This chapter was funny because I wrote it based on some crime show's depiction of rat poisoning and then researched after it was all done and fixed some of the mistakes. Stupid crime show.

I've dumpster dived for stuff (there was one behind a store at teh mall I worked at. We found a chest and a nice dining room chair and like 60 pieces of silverware and a mannequin and a brocade crhistmas tree skirt) but I've been lucky enough to nto have to dive for food.
