I figured it would be too much to hope for. *sighs*

Actually, re: the kitty fic, I was wondering when I read it if you intended for Jared to stay human? It would be a real bitch if he became increasingly more human, they got together, etc...*smut ensues*...and then the spell breaks (maybe it was only intended to be temporary, or due to the incompetence of the caster). There's Jensen, half in love with what is now his CAT. The cat thinks they're mates or something.

What're your options? Hmm.

Jensen finds a pal for the cat to supplant him. *laughs*

Jensen finds somebody human, maybe unexpected-you'd have to ease another character into the storyline as you went, and maybe they'd end up finding out about the situation. maybe be responsible for the spell breaking?

or...Jensen turns himself into a cat, so they could be together? Adopted by a friend who thinks he's crazy, of course. *snorts*

I'm just saying. I see why you feel that IFtC has absorbed your intentions, with damaged!Jensen increasingly becoming the man he once was in place of kitty!Jared; but the story's still got legs, imo. Just gotta find the angle, and maybe tweak a little here and there.

And the Jeff/Dean verse breaks my heart.

You see the errors so much more clearly because you wrote the fics and know what you really meant to do. But believe me, from a reader's pov, I almost never have the urge to beta anything...you know how it is, when you're reading a fic that's *almost* perfect, and you itch to fiddle with it, to make it better? Yours doesn't make me want to do that. You might write something differently than I expected, but never out of the blue, plot-wise; the seeds of the story are always there in the beginning, and it's a logical progession.
