My husband is all "this is really good. You could sell it! make some money!" :)
Short story? Dude, the thing is 50,000 words. That's almost paperback romance novel length.
I think Jensen is definitely the least aware of what's been lost. He's got sort of a state of grace. To him, all that he has is at risk, not gone.
