Le Sigh.

Our living room looks like we had a slumber party that never ended.

This is because everyone who lives in our house is sleeping there.

The central air is out, and the warranty company is replacing it (tomorrow, supposedly), but for now we've just got the window unit in the craft room and 6 fans bringing that cold air into the living room. Getting the bedrooms cold just isn't happening.

It's way too hot to go play outside.

On a seperate note, apparently Lilycat is losing control of her bladder because she pissed in my bed and slept on it. And in the hall. And under the coffee table.

Your A/C company is for the loss. What did they say the problem was this time?

If they don't get it fixed, you can take the window unit from your barn and put in in one of the rooms in your house pretty quick. It's 110v so it wouldn't take much to do.

The compressor blew. So the whole outside unit is getting replaced. Finally. They've been fixing one burned-out wire at a time for two years now. Stupid warranty company. The good news is we just have to pay the disposal fee and maybe the taxes on the new unit.

I was thinking about pulling the window unit but I think we're good on the couches for one more night. That unit in the craft room is heavy-duty. It's like 60 degrees in there, 70 in the dining room and maybe 74 in the living room. Probably 85 or higher in the bedrooms that we've got closed off.

"disposal fee" huh? The coil in the old unit is worth about 100$ at a scrap yard :)
