I've got like 24"X24" samples of like 20 color/pattern combos of that group of fabric. I have to find 2 of the same color where I can get the pattern semi-friendly.
There are a host of flaws on this that I'll try to avoid next time. The gussets made me crazy. It's the Simplicity pattern, so they aren't on a seam. I've got the Silverado pattern now so hopefully the next one will be a little easier.
if you like the pattern save for the lack of seam line along the gussets then the easy way to make a seam where there isn't: get some pattern tracing paper or [since corsets are conveniently tiny] go to your local office supply and get a ream of ledger/tabloid [11x17] paper. Trace your pattern piece onto the paper, draw a diagonal/horizontal/vertical/whatever line you need at join of the gussets. Yours would be vertical from the vertices of the gussets, parallel to the grain. Take another sheet of ledger and trace off your two new pattern pieces with the appropriate seam allowance added to your new style-line.
Make sure to reinforce your seam in your preferred method when you sew it together but other than that, you shouldn't have a problem with it :D
