Another fic I'll never get around to writing....

On the way to pick the baby up from the sitter last night, I had like this plot-epiphany where all these elements came together and formed a story in my head, so clearly I wonder if I read this somewhere?  Where Jensen is this ballet dancer from Russia who speaks almost no English and Jared's the guy who delivers the room service in his hotel.

I doubt I'll ever get it down on paper, mostly because I know absolutely  nothing about ballet or Russia or super-expensive New York hotels.  But I am plotting it out and saving the notes in Scrivener.  Who knows.

God I want to write again.  I feel fic-defective these days.

That bunny got me all starry-eyed. MAN, do I hope you can write it one day. ::props chin on hands, still googly-eyed::

If you need help figuring some stuff out, you can watch the French movie "the Russian Dolls", it has a similar story : a French man who works in a theater and falls in love with a Russian ballet dancer (female) and they don't speak the same language. They don't exchange much, but he learns Russian for her and then flies to Russia to conquer her heart (it's not the main part of the story, just some of it, but it's a beautiful love story )

If you need any help with your Russian, let me know - I'm Russian, love ballet and one of my best friends is a ballet critic.

I still have nostalgia over... I believe it was you, who wrote a Sorority Boys fic that I had an especial fondness. {g} The J2 fic idea you have sounds interesting. :-)

Enjoy real life now, instead. Those moments come by only once. Fiction writing can wait for you. {hugs}

Dear J,
I'm so glad to hear you're still writing, still sewing, and with a bb!J, the hell? Hope it's all going well down in Texas, unless you moved or something, since we have last been in touch. Oh, it has been Years, literally.
I quite understand you might not remember little Nariel, but back when you *looks around furtively* - psst! - still wrote for Forgotten Realms, I used to whine in bad English to get a sneak peek at new chapters in "Run". From Germany, remember? Then I had to move and had no internet access for a month or two, and you got into Supernatural and I was really really sad for the lack of a Drizzt/Entreri happy ending ;-) so we kind of lost touch then, unfortunately...
Just, there is only so long one can amuse oneself over wanky fandomsecrets about SPN and not become curious about it. One major turn-off was, in fact "Wasn't this the fandom Janelly teh Awesome left my OTP for? Grumble." ;-) But yeah, I got into it. Despite being scared shitless by it, pathetic, I know, but what can I say, the slash is luring me right in.
I get it. Oooooh, boy do I get it. And I'm still in season one so it's bound to improve, no?

tldr: just popping in to say I'm very VERY much looking forward to reading your fic on this show (and the RPS - lol, RPS used to creep me out - just LOL.) Don't assume I matured much though - my English may be better now, but I still flail-fangirl allll the way. I mean, you are one of the biggest influences/inspirations on my writing, you epic shit <3
No pressure, eh? ;-)
Nariel
PS: to avoid Off-Topic-ness: I liiiiike this idea. Also, Russian's my mother tongue, so, should anything come out of this and you need my awesome halfway-graduate super-duper translation skillZ, don't hesitate to ask... ;)
