It's very sweet that Jared essentially came out to his family without realizing what a big step it is. Jensen seems to realize it though.

I really enjoy how you handle the sex in this verse. It fits that they would hold off on the physical somewhat, with Jensen trying to get used to a more sober, adult relationship and Jared "learning" how to be gay. Jared's reaction in this chapter fit nicely into the budding physicality of the relationship. But they still manage to be so intimate, even with so much unresolved both in and out of bed.

And if there were a coffee shop in my neighborhood called Sir Perks-A-Lot, I would be there every day!
