In the early chapters, with Jared talking about not wanting an injured Jensen to sleep out in the cold, I figured it was probably somewhere on the East Coast. But then there was the reference to the car having been found in Miami, and Mac saying the police hadn't found the car before the family filed the Missing Persons report, so they hadn't had any reason to suspect Davis was so far away. Then there was also a reference to Mac coming to the city with girlfriends for a "summer trip".
So are they supposed to be in Miami? And where do the Carrs (and Davis) live?
