So both Jared's city and Davis' home town are big cities in the northern US. Beyond that I'm not so sure.
Ah, okay, thanks. That helps. When I'm really into a story, like this, I like to be able to picture everything, and so that confusion over the locale was niggling at me a little bit. =)
