Oh God. I can't even begin to tell you how incredible this story is. How I've been in tears at some points, and stifling keening noises (because it's So Damn Adorable) at others. Jensen in this is amazing. How naive and innocent, and yet so aware he is. How he responds to Jared. And the small touches you added, from his tuggin on Jared's sleeves, to his weird almost poetic phrases he'd use to protect himself, to the way he could make something out of nothing. And always, always to his incredible child-like mentality.
Then Jared, and Jeff, and all the other characters you weaved into the story that ended up taking on lives of their own. The way you created a whole, full, real world. I just cannot praise you enough.
But it's Jensen and Jared's relationship that seems to fit so seamlessly into a story of misfits. The way they just lock together, the touching of foreheads, the gentle reassurances on both sides, the now always forever. It broke my heart and yet sewed it up again in the most creative of ways. Like Jensen's art.
I just... I don't think I have words enough to explain how incredible, amazing, awesome, stunning, fantastic, beautiful this fic is. I swear it's a testament to the power of words, and your talent. It's everything I've written above and more, it's the way I couldn't stop from crying out when Jensen and Jared were broken up, the way my heart hurt and my chest constricted when they promised each other forever.
