They were so close. Another few weeks and Jensen would have had a home, Cougar could have connected with him as part of the team, dealt with his shit and stayed in the military.
One of the few issues I"m not 100% happy with in this one is "What about Max?" Because without Cougar and Jensen, I don't think the Losers could have accomplished what they did in Bolivia, or gotten the hard-drive or the code to crack it, or so many other awesome things. So then what? Is whatever catastrophe Max has planned just around the corner?
I don't want to write a sequel to this one as disaster-fic (I'm busy with a Losers+Zombies+Girl Scouts fic and don't want to apocalypse myself to death), but I half-feel like I should deal with it in some way. Grumble grumble. I kind of want to read the comic so I know if there's some other way out of the conundrum.
