Preggers!

So.  All last week I spent either sick to my stomach or sleeping.  Seriously.  I didn't feel sad or depressed or anxious.  Just sleepy all the time.


Also I'd put on some weight.  And it felt like my heart was beating faster all the time.  I was winded from walking in from the car.  My bladder hurt after I peed and I had a pain in my side.

So I went to the doctor on Friday.  Kendra went with me for support and to make sure I told the doctor everything that was bugging me.  

 I kind of knew what was up, I think, I was just in denial.

So they ran a test and it came back that I am indeed pregnant.  The doctor worried about that pain though, and sent me immediately to an OBGYN for an emergency ultrasound (she thought it might be in the tube and not the uterus).

Sam met us at Dr. Obay's office.  She did the ultrasound.  All was good there.  I'm 6 weeks pregnant.  The sprout's the size of a pea and has a little heartbeat and everything (they had to do the ultrasound from the inside to get the pics this early on).

So she left Sam and I alone to talk about it.  I was trying to figure how to get him to want to keep it, and he was trying to figure how to get me to want to keep it.  So that worked out well.

We're all excited and looking forward to this new adventure.
