It's a god-damn plot-bunny farm!
Dec. 22nd, 2010 03:34 pm Okay, I've only seen two of these, but seriously. Plot-bunny farm of the gods. It's an indy documentary series PBS puts out, about people and places and things I've never heard of.
We watched "The Loss of Nameless things" about a charismatic genius writer who suffers a traumatic brain injury (and it kind of made me want to revisit the Homeless verse).
"Off the Charts: The song-poem story" is fascinating. About the musicians who will make any poem you send them into a song, with vague promises of getting it played/heard. I had bunnies about Jensen doing that for a living, and Jared's this troubled poet who keeps sending him songs that are actually good, and Jensen tracks him down and tries to get his work actual exposure and Jared's family just think he's trying to take more advantage of him. And yeah.
Maybe I'm in that creative place where I have too many ideas instead of too few.
