that's interesting to me. i just finished my nano-novel, which i had intended to have several highly salacious f-locked "extra chapters," but i couldn't do it. there was a touch of frottage and lots of kissing, but the hot stuff was not happening (despite the presence of alex krycek in disguise). i decided it was ok, in this context. but if i were trying to write slash fanfic, i'd have found this very frustrating.
