Rec 3 authors, artists or vidders you've never recced before.

I thought that was easy, since I hever have recc posts anywhere, but maybe they're counting recs at [community profile] spnstoryfinderstoo?
To try and be on the safe side, I picked either newer (to me) authors, and one that I love dearly and realize I don't pimp and should.

Okay, let's start with this super-cool thing written by nilchance and beanside. It's called the Set in a post-apacolyptic future, where the public's reaction to a deadly world-wide virus has caused slavery to be legal in the US, there's a President-for-life and all sorts of other scary-but-plausible darkness. Against that backdrop we have Jared and Jeff being so Jared and Jeff that there was no "Am I reading Original fiction?" dissonance with me. Whenever I think I have a handle on this fic and it's sorta predictible, I discover that I didn't at all, and there's some amazing twist to be found. It's labeled JDM/JP with future JA/JDM/JP

Second up, by

[profile] ysgrifen_ysbail Okay, with a summary like "This is an AU version of the Winchesters’ world in which Sam doesn’t get to go to Stanford – Sam’s been hunting on his own with his father for almost four years while Dean, who suffered permanent injuries protecting his brother, has been absent from their lives." I thought this would be another hurt!Dean angst-fest, and really, the angst is there, but there's so much more. For everything Dean's lost, he's gained something too.
It's fascinating and tender and I'm hooked. Gen-fic.

Last but never least, "Day's Dawning: Pure Morning (a friend in need's a friend indeed) by unperfectwolf
Outsider POV, Stanford years, Sam being a Winchester. Simple, funny perfect. Go. Read. (So the thing about Steve is that he's not an idiot.)
