Ok, so. My cat, Smokey, has this thing where he reaaalllly hates it when I cry, right? Any sign of sniffling or sobbing and he's all up in my face, climbing my shoulder, purring like mad. Making these little "rowr rowr?" sounds, which is his "Mommy!" noise.
This part-"The idea that he might have a partner who makes $125K/year was one hell of a relief and made the thought that his son and this boy might be humping a lot easier to take."...made me laugh so hard that Smokey got in an uproar. You made my cat panic! *laughs some more, but quietly*
It took a while, but I was finally able to peel him off me and settle him down.
Seriously, I'm thinking that if *this* is "crazy" behavior for Jared's family, what are they normally like? Reserved? Hmm. And Jerry's willing to pimp his boy out for the chance to snag a good future husband, is he? Sounds like a Jewish mother-"You should marry a doctor! Or a butcher! You'll never starve!" *hums "If I Were A Rich Man" to self*
...I've seen Fiddler on the Roof a few too many times, apparently. *is inappropriately amused at the thought of Jared in a kerchief*
Pardon me, I just woke up from a nap. *coughs*
It *does* take courage for Jensen to force himself to do things he's afraid of. Hopefully with the love and support of a soon-to-be new boyfriend *waggles eyebrows*, he'll learn to be a little easier on himself.
I'm thinking if Jared's ever able to harness Jensen's intensity, get it turned outwards and all focussed on *him*...he's in for a surprise.
