Scarverse was my first J2. Before that, I had one tiny one-shot SPN AU and then everything else was different fandoms (Smallville, Boondock Saints, PotC, LotR).
Heh, Yeah, Scarverse is like a soap-opera fic, just less evil twins. I could go quite a while...
I think the easy thing about rollerball was that it had such a definite outside conflict that over-rode all those interpersonal ones. They got very "us against the world" very quick.
