Wow, this chapter adds complications! Someone poisoning the homeless really ups the malice.... the head wound becomes more ominous....
But, I loved the beautiful sweet parts -- the contrast of their blossoming relationship with the horror of the poisoning really works for me -- I loved how you described the impact on Jared -- how he has to get out there to warn everyone regardless of whether his boss gets that or not, and how Jeff is rendered such a blow by the deliberate evil. I wish Jared could offer Jeff more than money, but I guess until he can come inside he will have to stay outside, which also sucks.
Beautiful story, again, thank you so much for your hard work on these chapters. It is really worth it!
