Whew.
I still feel drained after finishing off the HOmeless verse.

Thank you so much to everyone who commented on the last two chapters of that, and on "Wicked Twisted Road," which I still haven't replied to.

I kind of feel like a lot of my other fics got recycled into the homeless verse. Model-verse's shy jensen. Kitty-verse's quirky world-view and innocence.

I've been thinking already about sequels to the homeless verse and the one that's most eating away at me is the Jeff/Karen story that got glossed over at the end of "In from the Cold." Yeah. Me writing het. Stranger thigns have happened.

Anyway, enjoying my little break from school and done-ness with the fic.

Hopefully will start writing something soon.

My husband has a theory of writing that it's like piles of firewood and kindling in his brain. some of the piles are years old. Bits of this and that all stacked together. Seperate piles for one genre or theme or whatever.

And the writing can't happen until there is both fuel and a spark.

I feel like the spark hit so bright and hot that it burned evvery bit of flamable material up. I barely have enough left to reply to comments. :)

I love you, sweetie!
Did you get back to your old layout?

New layout was having issues with spacing and column size. Kendra is gonna fix it and reload it or whatever it is.

Miss you. I'm glad by the love that I'm not the one you're upset with. Good to know. :)

I'm reading a book of circus short stories. Or at least skimming them until I get a feel for it. Dunno where that might lead.

Now that I"m done with the homeless verse I've stumbled across a delicious account with supreme research and resources.

Joined a local writer's group to give feedback and stuff. Dunno if they're expecting a gay love story but if they can't take it they can tell me.

MASSIVE congratulations on the well-deserved feedback and recs on In From the Cold! And yeah, I'm the last person to fault anyone for taking a little break from writing. ;)

Thank you so much for the hard work and hand-holding you put into it.

I'm just chillin' with the pretty pictures in my head.

I tried to apply the InFrom the cold formual to older fics but it didn't work. I think I'll try it with the next thing I write though (write one chapter, write a 400 word plot outline, write through til the fic is done.)

You finished it, and I didn't get to comment because I was offline.

*throws flowers and confetti at you*

It was lovely to see that Jensen got what he needed, and so did all the others. I loved your innocent sweet Jensen learning who he was and becoming strong enough to want to make everyone happy in his gentle way.

I too am anxiously awaiting more about Jeff, because I loved your PTSD!Jeff, too.

Enjoy your break, and then write like a fiend! You know you want to...

So glad the ending worked. I've never had an easier timeof wrapping up all the ends, and it still wasn't easy.

Jeff is awesome, and I'm getting a better feel for who Karen is/was so I think i might have a story to tell.

Dear Lady Janelly,
I've read your fic "In From the Cold", and I loved it to pieces! It was so beautifully written. Jensen's POV is awesome; I love his innocence and the simple way he talks and sees things. And Jared is so reliable, and the way he takes care of Jensen and their relations as if it were something fragile is just lovely.
Would you mind if I translated this fic into Russian? I'll make all the credits, and insert all the info you find necessary in the headers.

I have sent you this messages 4 days ago, but I'm not sure you've received it, as I'm new to LJ mail service and might have done something wrong.
So please would you be so kind as to give me an answer here?

P.S. Sorry for my English, I have almost no experience of using it in real communication.

Thank you so much for your interest and for your lovely comments.

I did get your message. Took me a while to think about your offer. At this time, I'm gonna ask that you please not translate it. I am hoping this fic can be re-written as an original fic and maybe published, so I'd rather not have it translated for copywrite reasons. I am pleased and flattered that you enjoyed it so much that you'd want to put that kind of time and effort into it.

Thank you so much,
Janelly.

It's been completed? *blinks* Guess I know where I'll be headed in a minute. ;)

I kind of feel like a lot of my other fics got recycled into the homeless verse.

I think I've shared that I first found you via your Model-verse--still one of my top ten favourite fics, period. But while I can recognize your hand in both stories, they're two extremely separate works as far as I'm concerned, down to the way the characters carry themselves. Course', now I'll have to re-read the MV & all this talk of it has me itching to delve in again... *laughing*

Anyway, this was meant as a *rah rah!* & a *Thank You!* & I've gotten off path... Do what you've gotta do, take whatever time you need, & then come back to us; we'll be here. ;)

I hope this doesn't mean you're abandoning your other fics? I'm especially hoping for the Model-verse & for that Jeff/Dean fic to be completed.

*is wistful*

I bet you *are* tired. I'm glad you're satisfied with your fic, because it really is remarkable and you deserve to be proud of yourself for it.
