rough week

we put Lilycat to sleep on Saturday. She'd stopped eating and threw up even water so we didn't want her starving to death. she'd gotten so much bonier in just a few days.

i called my dad and finally got a call back. he says he's half a million dollars in debt and can't afford to come to texas. and it just seems like at that point it sounds like he's saying he'll never come to see me.

found out that one of the side effects for one of my back medications is depression/suicide.

still no AC. They promise tuesday. Not getting my hopes up.

I'd love to go drinking with my friend Dave but if I dive into a bottle I'm afraid I'll never come up again.

I'm so sorry for your loss, and for all the other things you have going on right now.

I was on a back medication a while ago that span me out something chronic. It's such a horrid feeling and it makes eveything feel so much worse even when you have nothing major going on, so I do sympathise, (which I realise doesn't always help much), but I do know how bad it can make you feel.

Oh I am so sorry about your cat. We had to put my dog down in January. Honestly, I knew it was the right thing to do, she was just so sick and in pain, but even knowing that didn't make it any easier. *offers hug*

Hope things get better for you soon; we had to put our sweet little lhasa apso dog Sally to sleep last week after having had her for 15 years; she had cancer and ended up having a major stroke, sigh. I miss her as she was my little shadow and stayed right by me wherever I went in the house; I still imagine I hear her all the time, sigh. As for the health woes, I sure hope you can get on a better medication; we had to take my daughter off this one seizure medication she was on because it was starting to damage her liver. I myself am still waiting for my dr to arrange the appointment I need to go have my bad thyroid destroyed with radioactive iodine, so I am not looking forward to that, ugh. And no ac?! Argh; I am in hot, dry West Tx where our average temps so far this summer are around 100 degrees, so I can't even imagine not having any ac; we'd die of heat stroke, I fear. I hope you get yours fixed soon!!
