The AC is fixed. The only problem is that we have all been sleeping in the living room for so long that it seems weird to go back to bed? So we slept the last two nights in the livin room even though we didn't have to. Still adjusting to the sound of only one fan instead of the wind-tunnel we've been living in for the past month.

Blue went to the vet and he has none of the big diseases (lukemia or FIV). He's got a head cold but they gave him antibiotics for it.

Blue and Piff are starting to get along. No more hissing.

Yesterday, Piff jumped up on the kitchen counter and called Blue until Blue jumped up too. When Kendra went to fuss at them, Piff nudged Blue off and then they both ran away. Fuckers are teaming up on us. But it's adorable so we don't mind so much.

Blue is an equal-opportunity snuggler. He slept by the hubby last night. Whata cutie.

Huzzah for cold air!

I used to have 2 cats, brothers named Finnegan and Angus (Ninny & Goose for short). Ninny was anything but a ninny. He was a smart, calculating fucker. Goose was a big, dumb pretty-boy. Very affectionate. (They were both Russian Blue descent and looked like clones of Blue.

Ninny would lead Goose into doing things that he knew they weren't supposed to be doing and when they were caught, Ninny would be off like a streak leaving the big dummy to blink up at you all innocent like with a big 'What?' written all over his furry little face. Not the same teamship as Piff and Blue, but Ninny would usually go find Goose later and snuggle down beside him. I don't know if it was the bond of brotherhood, or Ninny thanking Goose for being his willing stooge. *G*

Maybe leave your number at the shelter and say you're interested in cats that have already been declawed? They have to put down a lot of adults because there's little demand.

I know he's worried about Scratch getting bullied. If you start with a kitten and clip it's claws regularly the de-clawed thing shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Or you could just bring one home while he's at work. :)
