I rarely rec fic but it was an awesome fic by an author I'd never read before and didn't have the kind of pop in the comments box that I thought it deserved. :)

I get some three hundred emails a day so it sometimes takes me a day so I start by deleting doubles and things and then take it down to the stories that are WIP's that I'm reading then the authors I usually read and then the stories that interest me by summary. I don't really care who wrote it if the story catches my interst I'm there and that one did.

I'm at work so I usually wait till I get home so I can actually concentrate and enjoy it while I'm reading it. That's why I weed through the inbox while I'm here so when I do get home it's all fun.

hee. thanks for that rec. I totally shouldn't have read that now, seeing as how I plan to go to work tomorrow and therefore having to get up earlier, but it was too tempting to resist :D

I really did like it. Especially how the sex was handled. The quick little snap-shots that sketched out the action and the hotness and the emotions instead of long plodding Slot-A Tab-B pages upon pages. I liked that it was low-angst hooker!fic and I loved you insecure Jensen. :)

I hit the fic tab in your LJ but found no more fic by you. Where's it hiding?

Hah, that's just the points I was most afraid of, that my Jared was too insecure and that I'd cut off the sex too soon, especially towards the end, which honestly was mostly because I tried to write more for days and it was too hard, so I cut. *coughs*

This was my first J2 fic, and I'm generally a lazy, lazy writer, but there's some fic in my master list (http://raths-kitten.livejournal.com/606711.html#cutid1). I will write more now though. I signed up for Big Bang and have another idea for a ficlet. My resolution for this year was to write more and I intend to keep it. ;)
