Awake at 3am

I'm up.

Hubby was feeling fine at 9, went to bed feeling not-so-good at 10:30. He took two acetaminiphin and woke up with 101.5 fever at 1:30. I had him sleep another hr and took his temp again. 102.5. Gave him 2 more pills. Gonna check him in a little while and see if it's gone down any, put him in the bath if it hasn't.

Trying so hard not to get close enough to catch it while still taking care of him.

Poor hubby! And it's got to be so frustrating to want to take care of him and still try not to get sick yourself. I'm sorry you're both having a rough night.

Thanks hon. His fever's better now. It got up to 103.4 before it broke. Yay asprin.

The ear-thermometer thing is made of win. I'd go in and every time he'd be all "No you have to go away you can't get sick" but with the ear-temp I didn't have to touch him or get breathed on and I kept bringing fresh towels instead of washing them out and fresh cups of water and dropped the pills into his hand without touching.

Very strange night.

Just got him up to e-mail his boss he wouldn't be in today. Now i sleep more.
