I think I"m at that point in the pregnancy where having cable TV would be a good thing.  I just want to lay on the couch and watch whatever comes on.  Like--a 6 hr marathon of 10 year old ER episodes.  Or to cry over Animal Cops.  Three episodes of NYPD Blue every day.  I remember these things from last time we had cable (like 4 yrs ago?)

Anyway, actually going through titles and stuff and deciding that I want to watch stuff on Hulu is nowhere as relaxing but yeah. Been watching a lot of TV these days.

Life--
Holy crap.  The season finale.  Tell me somebody else saw this?  Charlie's "How I survived 12 years in prison" has got to be the best 12 seconds of tv I've seen in a loooong time.  Oh, hell yeah..

 .Dollhouse ep 9
Wow.  I sort of hated the first episode of this that I saw (I think it was #3, the one with the outdoorsman guy?) but around ep 6, people on my flist started buzzing about it and Ihad nothing better to do so I went and watched all that were still available from Hulu (Still haven't seen 1&2).  9 just blew me away, I can't remember seeing that many revelations in a single episode and having them all fit in a cohesive and exciting way before.

T:SCC season finale
I dunno.  It wasn't quite as smooth as it could have been or something.  I need to watch it again and see if I can figure out what I feel about it..

Doctor Who
Okay, it was fun, but somewhat lacking in substance.
Unless later it turns out that the manta-ray thingies are constructed by some evil force because seriously, I don't see how they evolved.  But as a weapon?  They're awesome..

Kings
How can a show this boring be so hard to look away from?  I'm not kidding.  I think part of the appeal is that the hubby and I just watched a documentary on the biblical David and wow.  Not a nice guy.  We keep waiting for this one to start crucifying the king's young grandsons.

I really liked the Terminator finale, myself. A lot happened at the end and I definitely needed a rewatch.

Just couldn't get into Dollhouse though. I think that show's about lost me at this point.

Dollhouse is really starting to get good, without a doubt; it's been picking up for a few weeks now, and now I think it's finally exploded into awesome.

I await the cancellation announcement any day now.

Yay \o/ Life's finale was AMAZING. I LOVED what he did in that car \o/

And yeah, Dollhouse was okay at first, but each episode is better than the previous one :).

I gave up on Kings, it's one of these shows that I KNOW are high quality but are just too boring for me...

I just finished Lipstick Jungle, and the young woman in me flailed at each kiss between a woman and a man. It's a REALLY good show !

I think I watched Life's 12 seconds 10 times. The perfect end to the season. See, Reese, he did have a plan to get out of that SUV. And Ted's 'Gone to Spain' sticky note? Classic.

I have another show for you. Castle, with Nathan Fillon from Firefly. He's a writer who pairs up with an NYPD detective after a series of murders based off murders in his books. He's charming and funny, she's hard-boiled and resistant - great stuff. Mondays on ABC, back eps available on Hulu (or so I'm told).

We have a complicated relationship with Dollhouse. We (husband and I) have been watching faithfully since the first two eps (we watched on Fox on Demand). We are interested in where it's gonna go. I am really rooting for Echo to go all alpha all over them (tho a bit less bloody would be nice) and I like the way they are developing back motivations for Ballard and Bosslady and I esp. liked what happened with Dominic in the most recent ep. I think that the Actives clearly have a lot more going on than anyone has a handle on -- I just loved when Echo lay down in the chair and VOLUNTEERED to become a spy to protect -- not really the dollhouse -- but her friends and herself. So I watch mainly to cheer for Echo.

I adore Life and the ending was seriously kick-ass. I haven't seen anything better in quite some time. Reading the other comments in seems that this is the one thing that people can whole-heartedly agree on. *G*

As far as Dollhouse is concerned, I like it. I saw the potential from the beginning and I've had faith in Joss all along not to lead me down the path to disappointment. I think the situations in the original episodes were purposely disturbing to show us just what the whole tone of the Dollhouse was.

T:SCC - people were bemoaning the fact that they'd killed off Derek but I had a feeling he'd be back somehow. And yeah, the episode was a little jerky and disjointed like they had a lot more footage filmed and too much of it was cut out. But you can't tell me that 'sex scene' between John and Cameron was disturbingly hot. *G*

Didn't watch Doctor Who and I gave up on Kings a couple of weeks ago. It's not disturbing me in the least that it's canceled. It had some great potential but as far as I'm concerned it was flailing from the beginning.

I LOVED Life's season (series?) finale! 'Course, I have a soft spot for Damian Lewis, but that whole ep just. Frickin'. Rocked. Dollhouse is great, but I'm just so nervous about it getting canceled. =/

I like Kings, I do, but I think it's mainly because of Ian McShane and the prettiness-factor of the younger cast. Plus, Macaulay Culkin guest starring? Sign me up! (That guy is so weird that I just gotta love 'im!)
