Sami is the easiest baby ever.  No seriously.  I think the last time she cried was sometime Friday?  She gives me this little grumpy grunting instead and I can figure out what she's complaining about pretty easy.

Last night she slept from 10pm-10am with just waking up to nurse (and since we co-sleep that's nothing).

Today I put on music while I cleaned house and got a ton done before she got annoyed at being in the seat watching me.

Life is good.

It sounds like your c section has healed up if you are cleaning house!!

I also co-slept with my baby and I'll never understand why people are reluctant. It is so much easier than anything.

Congratulations on your wonderful baby and your transition into the Estate of Motherhood!!

co-sleeping rocks.
I can't imagine anyone saying about any mammal than a human baby "Oh, it'll grow up much smarter/stronger/better if you seperate it from its mom whenever it's sleeping."

C-section bothers me on rare occasions but it's much better.

Not that you wouldn't love her immeasurably if she was the fussiest baby on the planet, but it's nice to know she has good manners and an agreeable temper. And at such a young age! ^_~

She learned to sit today! She turns 5 months old on the 19th. She's amazing.

Wow, that's some awesome baby you've got there. She'll be running around before you know it. =)

Part of that is her innate awesomeness, it's true, but it's also a huge testimony to your doing all the right things as a parent. Her trust that you will be paying attention and respond immediately is the single most important thing while she's this young.

We (hubby and I) really feel listening to her is a priority. We figure if we don't then she'll have less incentive to try next time instead of crying. It's work but it feels like it's paying off.

Speaking as someone majoring in this stuff, seriously, that is exactly right and the very best thing you can do for her at this point. ^_^

That's great to know because it always feels like we're winging it. :)

If I'd known the baby was gonna be this agreeable, I might have considered motherhood sooner.

She likes tummy-time (to a point)
Doesn't mind the booger-sucker or nose spray
Fusses instead of crying when she needs stuff
I dunno how I could have gotten luckier.
