 It blows my mind that I am still getting added to people's favorite fic lists on fanfiction.net for my super-old LotR and PotC stuff.  Craziness.  Flattering, but crazy.

I know the feeling. I took all my old stuff down because I was so embarrassed by it, but I'm still amazed at people who favorite half-written and not updated for almost a year stories. And every now and then one of the ones I took down gets mentioned on storyfinders, and I get a hundred PMs about it.

It is flattering. But sometimes it makes me wonder why I work so hard to improve as a writer when the stuff I just rattled off before I knew anything other than how to make a sentence, seems so much better received.

Love your icon. I'm imagining your face making exactly that expression reading your email alerts. It's a good feeling. *happy sigh*

I dunno. Maybe becuase it feels like forever ago, but really has only been like 5 years. I didn't feel like I could flush them. But yeah, vaguely embarrassing.

I think the quality of reviews and reviewers has grown as I've worked on making better fics. But there was a lot of squee in those days.

Hee! It boggles my mind.

Things are pretty good here. Having a hard time writing with the baby but otherwise its pretty awesome being a mommy. Beyond how hard it is to type one-handed or whatever, I feel like my fantasy life has quit working or something. Hard to think of the man-sex while holding a baby.
