Note to self.  Compose fic in a word file, and not a comment box, because you never know when the baby will close Chrome, and whatever you typed will be gone.  Especially if it's getting so large you're not sure it'll fit in a single comment anyway.  Arg.  At least I think I can recreate most of it.
