I can see some great possibilities in this. Jensen maybe needs an escort to some function because he's NOT going to be looked down on by old friends/colleagues/school bullies for being in a wheelchair now. He gets hot older guy, Jeff-and yeah, there would definitely be a market for ~him, at any age.
Hmmm. How did Jensen get in that wheelchair? Accident-something not his fault, so he can be suitably bitter? A degenerative disease that lets him walk sometimes, and sometimes have too much pain to get up?
This documentary was one of the main influences for the fic. :) Jensen's been in the chair 5 years, has gotten over the anger for the most part. Just not adjusting well where his love life is concerned.
And then there's Jensen's friends, who Jeff thinks are a little strange, when they're not being a little intense. And the weird hours that work suddenly crops up for Jensen and he locks himself in this safe-room of an office.
But anyway, just working on the first date part so far so all of that's still getting worked on.
