Crafting thoughts
Aug. 4th, 2012 11:52 am So I was playing around with the idea of painting some coats and jackets, inspired by this museum piece:
http://www.metmuseum.org/Collections/search-the-collections/80029935?rpp=20&pg=3&ft=*&who=Bill+Blass&pos=48
And maybe doing some steam-punk type stuff, with gears and antiquing effects with paint.
But then I was thinking--
What about more fannish stuff?
Like painting a bright blue skirt-suit like a Tardis?
Or a devil's trap on either a denim jacket or like a dress-jacket?
What other fannish graphics would be cool?
I wanted to do a Captain America shield on a blue jacket, but I think the large areas of paint would be an issue.
i bought an opaque projector yesterday to work with.
