Summary: Logistics

Sean's working seven days a week and Dave six. They see each other at the dojo. Sean imagines there's a warmth to Dave's glances, but there's never anything more than professionalism in the way Dave touches him in class.

Sometimes they linger afterwards, chatting with the other students or guest instructors. It takes a while, but they follow Dave's lead and stop treating Sean like he's innately more exciting to be around just because he's an actor. It's good to feel normal around non-studio people.

They try to schedule a second date, but there never seems to be time. Sean's determined to be well-rested for this one and that's easier planned than achieved.

"I've missed you," Dave says one night after everyone else has gone. It should sound funny since they see each other three days a week, but it doesn’t. "Come home with me." It's soft enough to be a request and not an order.

Sean knows he should say no, but he really doesn’t want to. "I've got an early shoot in the morning," he says instead.

"I'll make sure you're awake on time," Dave says, a smile playing at the corner of his lips and Sean finds himself wanting to broaden that smile until he can see teeth.

"I'll need a shower..."  Sean knows as he says it that he's not going back to his own apartment tonight.  That doesn't mean a man shouldn't play at least a little hard to get.

"Pretty sure I've got one of those." Amusement lights up Dave's brown eyes.  This feels so easy, so good, so clean.

"Clothes?"

Dave shrugs. "We'll figure something out."

Sean can't keep himself from smiling. "Fine, but I'm not sleeping on the couch again."

Glad you liked it. I'm so porned-out right now that I just want to read and write the pre-slash parts of things.


I didnt /try/to do anything with the font, but I'm so new at this stuff that I may have. One of my classes this fall is a computer class that's supposed to have a little html.
