Oh yeah. All hail janissa11 and her big list o'RPS AUs!

I've resisted RPS until recently. Not because of any philosophical reasons, but because I just never found actor's private lives as compelling as their on screen personas. But...ahem!...I've kinda fallen head first down the rabbit-hole and I've been gorging on RPS fic the last few days. AUs are my favorite. And your scar!verse is some of the best writing I've read.

Very compelling. I like a slightly vulnerable Jensen/Dean. Vulnerable but not broken. I love that he's still so very strong and self-confident in this verse, but still a little unsure.

Jared's just a big ole pile of lovable. He's got that 'big puppy' trait that we find so appealing, but he's also strong.

I can't wait to find out more of Jensen's background; how it diverged after 2000. How he got the scar and who was the lover he moved to Canada for? Does this mean he never did Dark Angel? I know it was filmed around this time. I have both seasons, I'm just too lazy to go look. *G*

Waiting impatiently for the nex part and I've 'friended' you so I'l be sure not to miss it.

Yay! I usually don't give a shoutout to new friends unless they review or something. I don't mind lurkers at all, but I felt like 5 new guys in a few days deserved a little hello, to make y'all feel a little more welcome. :)

SPN is my second fandom to be interested in RPS, so I know how it feels to be sorta new to it. A lot of fandoms' RPS is just so improbable or weird, or ... really weird, that I couldn't get into it.

This version of the boys is a joy to write. Jensen's careful, and Jared's optomistic, and they've got so much potential together, if they can avoid being stupid. I like how you let me know the impressions you got from them. It helps to know that I"m hitting the mark I'm aiming at.

In this 'verse, Jensen didn't do anything after being Eric Brady on DAys. The IMDB says he was doing that through some part of 2000, so hopefully it didn't lie to me.

I was wondering a few months ago when I started planning this, what his chances of being recognized would be if his career had stoped then. I was hanging out with my mom that weekend and talking about my new fanish obsession. I showed her a pic on the internet and she was like "Oh, Eric Brady."

And the funny thing is, she's only been watching Days for like 6 months. The person who got her into the show had shown her pics as part of the Two-decade-recap. And neither of them knew Jensen from DA or SV or SPN.

So now I'm not worried it'll be contrived when eventually somebody does recognize him.

Anyways, wow, I'm babbling now. Thanks for the review and for friending me and all. Hope next chap lives up to your expectations.
