I'm not supposed to read WIPs, but I can't stop myself, *sobs*.
This is me as well - I swore off WIPs while in Harry Potter fandom (so many promising stories abandoned), and now I find myself hooked on entirely too many WIPs here in SPN/J2 fandom. Ah well.
