OMG. So pissed.

Re-checked my schedule last night, figured I couldn't be doing it right if I could only take 2 classes toward my degree (I have like 9 left to take).

Went in early today to talk to "Advising." told her my issue. She's like "Oh, I can add another to this schedule, 'commercial I'."

I was like "Um, that conflicts with History of Interiors I."

Nope. Cancelled. Sometime after 11pm the night before the first class. Fuckers.

So. She managed to get me back up to 7 credit hrs that matter. Fuck.

I'm going through admissions at another college so that between the two I might be able to manage to get something resembling a full load in the spring semester. I'm half-screwed for this one.

This is ridiculous. I should be able to get 9 classes in less than 3 semesters. The only things I might possibly be able to substitute in are other interior design classes and Um, I'm taking ALL of those now.

I'm job-hunting right now, trying to find some more AutoCAD work. A friend of my old boss might need some.

If that falls through, I'll try to get an internship with an Interior Designer. Hopefully it's not to late for it to count for some class credit since I'll probably not get paid. I wonder if I have to pay for the credits to take a co-op credit. Probably. Fuckers.

I'm so sorry. The fewer classes you have left to take, the harder it is to get them. It really feels like it should be the other way around.

On a more positive note, your classes do sound interesting. I had a friend who studied interior design and she always had swatches as part of her assignments so I was a little jealous. I also really liked "Designing Women" when I was younger.

I hope you can get it sorted out, even if it has to wait until next semester.

It's not even that there are few that I can take. Of the 15 or so ID classes that are offered, 2 are offered and didn't get cancelled this semester. Holy crap.

They are interesting. I like more of the commercial end of it, will probably work in a architect's office or something when I'm done. Should be very cool. If I can ever finish.

Your school sounds extra-super shitty with their scheduling. I would think that if they are offering an accredation or degree program that they would be obligated to offer a certain amount of classes per term so people can realistically finish a program, taking classes sequentially. If they don't meet enrollment they shouldn't just cancel the class. Then what's the fucking point of offering the program in the first place? Oy!

I just realized that only one of my classes is officially on the program. The other, I have to get the dept head to substitute in for an elective.

Yeah, there should be some sort of minimum. This is ridiculous. I've got a gap between classes, I might stop buy and see where I should bitch today.
