I'm writing a fic where Jensen has a cat that gets magically transformed into 6'5" of gorgeous man.

It is crack. And funny (so far).

I have written so little true crack.

(Yeah, I know that's sorta subjective).


Also? I know almost all the words to the song "I'm Gonna Hire a Wino (to decorate our home)"

The song's about this guy who stumbles in drunk every night, so his wife decides to turn their home into a bar so "you'll feel more at ease here, and you won't need to roam"

I hadn't heard it since like--the 80's. And still remembered an embarrasing amount of it.

Was it on tape that you taped yourself off of the radio? God, I had so much crappy (but loved) music on those things. I remember hovering over the pause button for hours.

No, it was on one of those tapes of various artists that you could pick up at the gas station for like $5. I know what you mean, though. I used to get so angry when the DJ would talk over the intro to a song that I'd been waiting for HOURS for.

The "Wino" song is a classic, great to sing along to in the car. *grins*

My family used to have this old Johnny Cash novelty song album. My favorites were "I'm Getting Swallowed by a Boa Constrictor" and "Everybody Loves A Nut". *gets misty-eyed* They weren't songs anybody expects to hear from the Man in Black, I bet.
