So.
Got the results from the hydascan or whatever the heck it was. Came back normal for the gall bladder. The doctor wants to send me to a GI specialist now.

Eating food still isn't my friend.

Feeling better emotionally though. More connected.

Wrote 650 words of scar!verse today, which makes it officially the longest fic I've written in my life. It's at 27,100 words or so. Holy crap.

Glad that it's not your gallbladder, that can be very unpleasant.

Have they ruled out ulcer's? Does everything you eat upset your stomach or is it particular things? Don't mean to be nosy, but unfortunately, my family and I have a vast history of stomach, gallbladder and intestine related problems.
I hope you're feeling better soon.

Also, YAY scar!verse.

Nosy is fine.

I dunno why they haven't thought ulcers. Most things upset my stomach. It seems to be a quantity issure most of the time. Richer foods upset it more though, so I"m not eating much fatty stuff. It's all up high in the digestive tract.

I thought my writing-fu was broken, and then it worked today so I am much relieved.

Well I'm glad you're going to a gastro specialist. Some doctors won't give that referral and only end up causing the patient more pain. Short story about that, my sister was on the gurney being wheeled into the operating room to have her appendix taken out when the surgeon said I want one more cat scan, come to find out she had Chron's Disease and her appendix was fine. All because her GP wouldn't send her to a specialist.

It will get better.

Craziness.

Yeah, my doctor is really good about referrals.

It would have almost been a relief for it to be the gall bladder. Now they dunno what it is.

Craziness, huh?

It beats my Boondock Saints epic by like 50 words now.

I'm glad it wasn't your gall bladder. One of my friends is fighting with her's now trying to keep it from having to be removed and it's not pretty.

Maybe the specialist will be able to shed some light. Good luck.

Feeling better emotionally though. More connected.

Glad to hear it.

I'm happy for you that writing is going a little better, and YAY scar!verse. My first love (of your stories).

Take care.

I was so relieved to write. I'd felt so stuck, like I'd never write again. I was having such a hard time connecting to my own emotions that a fictional character's were impossible.

Sounds weird. (Though at least if it had been the gall bladder they could take it out with no complications. I see at least 5 or 6 a day at work)

Hope they find out what's wrong though.

I was almost hoping it was gall bladder. It's better to know than not-know.

It's kind of like starting over from scratch now.
