Um, what the heck was their deal? I mean the big plan that Max was supposed to be the only one that could break it.

In 100 words or less would be plenty. 25 would be great. Because I don't really care, I just need to write around it in a futurefic, maybe.

But wasn't Sandeman's son like--just a few years older than Max, and younger than say, Joshua? He was the crazy man who was trying to pass himself off as an x5, right? Or am I way confused?

No you're right. Whoever said canon was consistent? Besides we don't really know how old CJ (the son) or Joshua were.
