Okay. Question one:  For everyone who'se heard his album.  Is it just me, or is he playing the pronoun game?

 

Question two: Is that a scar in his left eyebrow, and again just above it?

Like, that he doesn't specify who he's singing to or about so that it could be a man or a woman? Like, deliberately being mysterious about his sexuality?

Because I really don't think so. I know in one of the songs he sings about a "he", but I don't recall it being in a sexual way. Maybe I need to listen to the album again. *shrugs*


As for the scars, I do believe you are right. I know he's had a least the one on his eyebrow for many years, but I've no idea how he got either of them.


And that is one *damn* fine picture. I will be stealing it the next time I'm on my computer at home.

Exactly that game. I can't think of any song where he says "Her" or "She" or "girl" or anything like that in a sorta-romantic way.

Well, to be honest, his lyrics are rubbish on crack, IMO, so I don't know how much can really be read into them.

Don't get me wrong, some of the songs are fun, and I really like "Crooked Crosses..." but none of them really make much sense to me.


And, herm, much as I like to think about him shagging other pretty bois until they scream, I do think that Sean is straight IRL.

yeah, and on second-listen, there's very little romance in there, so the lack of pronouns isn't that odd.

I really liked "Best friend that I have." It was really sweet and soft and stuff.

I did remember that in "Ultraviolet" he sings about making someone his "bride", but he could also be saying that Death is his bride, so I dunno what that means.

^ I get the impression that he is either very reserved and shy, or that he is a hugely arrogant jerk who is standoffish.

Prefer to think of him as the nicer option, but you never do know.

OMG i feel the same about him. well knowing nothing about him definitely contributes to the confusion, but i too hope he is a nice, silly shy guy, and not the other less attractive option:)

OMG i know this post was like million years ago...but i just recently listened to several of his songs and: "Murder" and the "Best friend that I have." are awesome...i donno who wrote the music to them but they are really good...now if i could only find the lyrics somewhere...

I need to bug goodtwin to read off the liner notes. I would be even more impressed with the boy if he wrote all of that.

Watching "The Method" tonight. Craptastic movie with high ambitions. Sean is sooo beautiful in it, but the rest of it lets him down. Also, the copy I have is not-so-good, so I may be missing some of it due to the sound being not-right. Sean Executive-produced it, so I was really hoping it would be one of those secret-good things.

I got it from Goodtwin and she asked that it not be spread around...

I listened again, and the thing is that they're so non-romancy that it really doesnt matter that much. It just struck me funny in the one song "Best friend that I have," which seems to have romantic subtext, that there was no sex mentioned.

I attribute it to wishful thinking.
