I had thought about Jared giving Jensen the Vit K but thought he wouldn't like to jab him with a needle unless he had some reason to suspect that Jensen got some of it. He figures with him being aware and watching for symptoms he'll catch it if he needs to. I almost did have him give him a pre-emptive shot.
Rat poisoning is crazy. They've got the super-warfarins now, which are more effective at smaller doses, and they're stacking those with antibiotics which kill the vitamin K producing symbiotic bacteria in the digestive tract. Everything has to be odor-free and taste-free to rats. I figure people don't have a chance of detecting the pure poison (though it's easy to tell rat pellets from food).
