Dallas Convention
Mar. 4th, 2008 04:30 pmToday we are also pleased to welcome fan fave composer STEVE CARLSON to the Dallas SUPERNATURAL Convention. Steve was suggested to us by so many fans and when he performed at our Chicago convention it was a night to remember: he is fantastic! Steve joins our already great line-up in Dallas (June 6 to 8 2008) that features JENSEN ACKLES, JARED PADALECKI, CHAD LINDBERG and FREDRIC LANE (so far).
Okay. I can't miss this one. Anybody else looking to go?

And I think one squee-fest is definitely not too much of a swap for 2 months of martial arts classes. A total bargain in fact.

Date: 2008-03-07 04:29 am (UTC)I lived in FL from when I was born in 71 til 2001, except for a year in Virginia. Moved from there to TX (scary, I tell you what) because I met a great boy over the internet and he had a better job than me. 7 yrs and we're still going strong and his job is still better than mine ever would have been

Date: 2008-03-07 06:52 pm (UTC)I know a lot of people who want to leave, but it's hard to save up enough money to move apartments, much less to a new state where you'd have to find a job. It's kind of a Catch-22.
I don't know that it would necessarily be better anywhere else and I'm not inclined to move around just to try it out. My parents did that for years, moving every 2-3 years to find the perfect place. Amazingly, the people in every place they moved to were jerks...yeah, I told them if they weren't happy in themselves, moving ain't gonna help. It wasn't really appreciated. *coughs*
I've got relatives somewhere in Virginia, a bunch of them on farms up and down some valley area. Cousins of my dad's mom...not even sure where, any more. It's been about 25 years since I've seen any of them, huh.
I'm a homebody. I get so travel sick if I'm not driving myself that I don't like going anywhere, much. :(
